Design Studio: preview your email in real inboxes

Generate real screenshots of your email from specific clients and devices, like the Gmail app on iPhone 16 or Pixel 9. This helps you catch styling issues that only appear in certain email clients.

Inbox previews are helpful for troubleshooting rendering problems. When a recipient reports that your email looks different in their inbox, generate an inbox preview for that client to pinpoint what’s going wrong instead of sending a test email or relying on services outside of Customer.io.

From the Design Studio editor, click Review and test and select the Inbox preview tab to get started.

Accounts on paid plans get 25 no-cost inbox previews per monthly billing cycle, and can purchase more credits if needed. Inbox previews aren’t available for trial accounts.
